Apples and grapefruit is a strange choice. Not a terrible one, but calvados is a fairly faint flavor, and the apple does get a little lost under all that citrus. It ends up tasting like a slightly strange and absurdly small glass of grapefruit juice, which disappears quickly. Dangerous.
