This one didn't quite live up to the somewhat racist billing because really, who has time for two types of cacao? You'll use brown and like it. Regardless, it's ultimately irrelevant what you use, because all you'll taste is anise. It's kind of amazing, really. Peppermint schnapps is some serious flavour, and lemon juice? You don't forget drinking an ounce of lemon juice. Except here. Everything is steamrolled by the almighty Pernod. I could be convinced to try this again, with maybe a fourth the amount of Pernod. That might leave room to notice what else is happening.
