So my layering needs work. If you squint, though, you can just maybe make out the cognac floating on top of the Bailey's. And in truth, this deserves to look as pretty as you can make it, because it's actually good. Nobody's more surprised than me, but it works well - the alcohol of the brandy cuts through the cloying richness of the Bailey's, which at the same time takes the edge off the burn of the brandy, and the amaretto just gives everything that oddly delicious nuttiness in the background. I would definitely have another, if it weren't such a pain to assemble.
