You may have never tried pepper vodka. I hadn't. It's... odd. It has a taste that sits there on the tip of your tongue, dancing out of reach, mocking you to identify it. And no, it's not pepper. It makes me want to get a second bottle, to see if maybe I got a bad one, but then I'd probably just end up with two bottles of this. Not to say that it's unpleasant. Let's call it disconcerting. In the end, it's too much of a distraction to be able to concentrate on the drink.
